On Success and Silly Songs

Episode 20. Matt Asciutto

On this episode of the podcast, our host, Matt Asciutto reflects back on our experience at the AVMA Convention and the complexities involved in defining success. He also premiers his new song "Oh Hold (a cordial request)," a musical representation of what happens when an emergency veterinarian becomes captivated by the Poison Control hold music and slips into a trance.

By the end of the episode, we hope to offer an alternate understand of what success means: informed more about true outcome rather than whatever expectation was laid out at the start. Additionally, we hope the listeners will be encouraged to seek out the odd things in their lives that bring them joy.

Most importantly: Matt would like everyone to appreciate just how many guitar parts were recorded for the song. A great many.
