Not Good with Comfort

Episode 28. Beth Venit

On this episode of the podcast we are joined by fellow Veterinary Innovation Summit attendee and doctor of many letters, Dr. Beth Venit! Matt and Beth have been the closest of pals for almost a full month! In this episode they discuss gardens, using AI to regulate itself, and having dinner ready when you come home.

Dr. Venit (VMD, MPH, DACVPM) is the chief veterinary officer of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards. She started her veterinary career working emergency medicine in the Northern Viginia / DC Metro area before gaining diplomate status, obtaining her MPH, and working for the US State Department. Although her real accomplishment to date was putting up with Matt for a whole hour.

This special episode was recorded live at the Veterinary Innovation Summit. Special thanks to the Veterinary Innovation Council for hosting us (along with Ryan Leech, Stacy Pursell, and Megan Sprinkle) at the Podcast Zone. Matt has always wanted to be “Press.”

For more on Dr. Venit’s life, please check out her episode on the My Veterinary Life podcast.
